Shameless Plug

So, betcha' thought that the resurrection post on my forgotten blog would be really poignant, thought provoking or somehow illuminating... maybe someday, but that day is not today. Today I am plugging our third annual July 4th Bash. The premise is pretty much the same as the last two years: eat, swim, eat, drink, talk, drink, swim with some music to set the mood. We are adding some new events this year which we are pretty jazzed about. First off, we're beginning Friday night, June 30th at 7:00 with Dueling Pianos and sing along at 8:30pm. Don and Cole will be playing and will (maybe) take requests. ;) Mary and I will be serving cocktails; well, flavored martinis to be exact. We'll serve them small, so everyone can get a taste of each one without getting pounded. Saturday is pretty busy with Beatlemania hour, family friendly dance hour and Diva Des' Dance Party. Family dance is at 8:00 and will be appropriate for all ages. Diva Des' Dance party is at 10:00 and won't be quite so family friendly. Of course, we'll have craft time every day at 3:00 and the pool and grill will open up between 11:00 and noon. "Every day" includes Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Whew! Most activities will be held over the weekend. So, Monday and Tuesday will be very laid back. Come and relax.
